If you’ve ever visited London, you’ve hopefully experienced one of their many gorgeous parks. While the city can sometimes feel like it’s going to swallow you up with its hustle and bustle, you don’t have to go far to find a little slice of heaven in the form of nature. According to Google over 47% of London is green space. It’s the strangest thing. You can be surrounded by all the city noise like car horns, motorcycle engines, construction machines, and sirens – but it seems like as soon as you step into one of the many parks the city has to offer all of the noise falls away and suddenly you realize you can hear birds chirping… a sound you haven’t heard since your last park visit. London may be hectic but it does a great job of providing beautiful escapes for its people.
The small, but beautiful park that backs up to Ray and Megan’s flat is just such a place! I especially loved it because it had beautiful natural scenery with greener than green grass and a gorgeous blooming tree – but it also included some of the London charm with it’s beautiful apartment buildings and quaint lampposts. Spring had just arrived when we took these and it arrived in full force.
Ray and Megan got engaged at a vineyard (can you say, romantic?!) and got married in ITALY just a few short months after these were taken. What a dream! Ray and Megan were SO fun to get to know and photograph and weren’t afraid to be goofy with each other but could also pause for those sweet, romantic shots. You don’t have to be around them long to see how in love with each other they are. They are beautiful inside and out and I’m so proud to have captured that for them.
Cheers to you, Ray and Megan! I hope you have a long, wonderful life together!
