I have loved having the opportunity to photograph this family several times over the last few years. It’s been so fun to see how these little ones have grown from season to season. But at this particular session with them in December, a very special young man was noticeably absent. Parker had gone to be with Jesus just a few weeks earlier. It was a hard shoot because it felt painfully incomplete to all of us. But it was my privilege to take these photos for this family so that they could have a professional family portrait with all of them as a family of five.
