I’m the oldest grandchild on both sides of my family. On my dad’s side, I have a few cousins close to my age but on my mom’s side, the closest cousin to my age is nearly 10 years younger than me. In fact, all of my siblings were born before I ever had a cousin on my mom’s side! While I do wish I had more cousins closer to my age on that side of the family, it’s also been fun to watch these younger cousins grow up! I now have 6 cousins on my mom’s side. There are 10 of us total and only two boys…one of them being my brother, Ben! The poor guys have always been outnumbered!

I recently got to photograph my four youngest cousins (the youngest being nearly 20 years younger than me!) and my aunt and uncle. They are a military family and have been living in Charleston, SC for the last few years. I wanted to visit them one last time before they go on to their next assignment and was so excited to also capture some family photos for them to remember their time in Charleston!

Maybe I’m biased but I think these four siblings are some of the cutest around! I think you’ll see what I mean 🙂
