I love a good love story, don’t you?! I was so excited to help capture part of Ashlyn & Truett’s love story when we met for their ONE YEAR Anniversary session at Trinity Park and the Kimbell art museum a few weeks ago!

Ashlyn + Truett’s love story actually began with a blind date! Ashlyn told me:

“Both of us were living our happy single lives when the Lord brought us together. It happened when both of us expected it the least, which is always the best right?! We knew each other was the one pretty quickly. We got engaged 8 months after we started dating, and married at a little over a year! We both love the Lord with all our hearts and pray our marriage always reflects Him!”

Man, that’ll preach right there! Even if you’re not waiting for a spouse right now, I’m know there are always other amazing blessings that come when we least expect it. What a great reminder that even more-so than our wants God knows what we need!

Their actual anniversary is not for a few more weeks but it’s never too early to celebrate love. Congratulations, Ashlyn & Truett!
